It is important to form meaningful connections with friends and family however these connections should leave you feeling loved, connected, supported and appreciated.


If you find the people surrounding you are often draining you of your energy; aren't supportive of positive changes you make in your life; are dismissive of your achievements or you leave situations feeling worse about yourself then these are all signs that you need to find a new circle.


Your tribe greatly effects your mindset and if you are giving yourself to the wrong people you can spend too much time trying to appease them rather than focusing on yourself.


You can still care for someone deeply without feeling the need to regularly communicate with them.
