It’s all well and good if you to want to compete in a physique competition. I find that it’s a great challenge for all people and an amazing accomplishment..However, you need to ask yourself ‘Are you mentally ready?’..I say this because a lot of people don’t realise the time, dedication, sacrifice and financial burden competing encompasses..I’m not saying don’t do it because of these factors.
These factors have taught me a lot about my life and about the way I perceive a lot of things in life. In saying this, make sure you are mentally ready to tackle all things that come with wanting to compete. The final result is always worth it, but getting to that final product requires a lot of patience, discipline and consistency..Before registering yourself in a competition, create a form of balance with your lifestyle.
Learn to organise your daily and weekly schedule, get into the habit of meal prepping and sticking to a plan, and most of all understand time management..Most of all, enjoy the process! ..If you can master these skills, then you’re going to love preparing for and competing in any physique competition 🤓✌🏼 the mindset you need when wanting to step on stage.
