WALK IT OFF

If you think that training is all sunshine and rainbows, that you will train like an animal every single day, hitting PB’s every session, then you are wrong.

I call this the dark side of training. The side that no one talks about. The side that no one shows on social media. It’s the side that people get embarrassed about because they never want to be looked at as weak or incapable. However, this side is the best side of training. When we fail a lift, a set, or a rep, its just another learning curve. It’s a way to understand your body, so that you know what to improve on to come back better.

Training is like life; its up and down, its tough, its draining, but it’s the best thing we could ever do for ourselves. So, the next time you have a bad session or miss a lift, walk it off and come back bigger and better.
